How to come

Ludwigsburg is located in the South-West of Germany, near Stuttgart. The region is well connected by distance trains from Munich, Paris, Cologne or Hannover. Stuttgart main station has a direct link to the university by tram line 6 (journey 15 minutes). Stuttgart has an international airport. There are some direct connections , e.g., from Paris, Amsterdam or London. Otherwise, from most European destinations you will be able to get a connected flight via Frankfurt or Munich. The airport has a direct link to the city centre of Stuttgart. Also Stuttgart have some connection by low-fare-carriers, like Eurowings or Easyjet. For more information see the University's How to get page. Sometimes it is cheaper to check as well the airport of Frankfurt and take a distance train (70 minutes) to Stuttgart.

Accomodation

Accomodation can be organised via the Ludwigsburg Tourist Office or Web portals like HRS or booking.com. It is recommended to book a hotel near to the city centre, e.g. near Ludwigsburg main station. All evening events will be located in the city centre. From Ludwigsburg centre to Ludwigsburg University of Education you will have a good connection with tram line S4. Good options are the hotels Ibis budget hotel or NH-Hotel next to Ludwigsburg Station. We also recommend the Hotel Campus 2 directly in the city center. Next to the university campus there is the Poseidon, just a few minutes walking distance from the conference venue.
